This exhibition required the consideration of 256 important examples of scrimshaw—an American folk art—from The Deitrich American Foundation, Heritage Museum and Gardens, The Mariners’ Museum and Park, Mystic Seaport Museum, Nantucket Whaling Museum, New Bedford Whaling Museum, Peabody Essex Museum, and private New England collections.

H2 provided the 3D design, graphic design, content advisement, and multimedia touchscreens. We fabricated and installed many of the elements and provided on-site art-direction for the mounting of each object. Completed in 2022.
