Strawbery Banke Museum

For this project, H2 Design flexed their creative muscles by offering an entirely innovative approach to the exhibitions and interpretation within historic house museums. H2 developed an exhibit that invites visitors to solve a series of mysteries about this beautiful historic home at the Strawbery Banke Museum by collecting clues, touching objects, and recording information on clue cards.

 

This goal of this exhibition was for H2 to reinvent how visitors typically engage with historic homes. Instead of cordoning off sections of the house and offering sparse interpretations, this exhibit invites visitors to explore the artifacts and space.
